Information Management Analysts

StoneShare is seeking experienced Information Management Analysts to create and update internal artifacts and support the development of a best-in-class process to keep knowledge artifacts updated and maintained across the organization.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work with existing SMEs and department leaders to validate existing documentation
  • Develop a comprehensive taxonomy for organizing information resources based on business goals and requirements from stakeholders
  • Ensure consistency in knowledge management process and adherence
  • Ensure that the storing, archiving and taxonomical layout of information resources are consistent across and throughout the organization
  • Development of best practices for internal knowledge retention and documentation
  • Curating and keeping SharePoint updated with information through change

Qualifications

  • Experience with working in a complex technology or Enterprise solutions and systems implementation environment
  • Experience interviewing business and technical leaders to gather and clarify business process requirements, performing gap analysis between business requirements and existing procedures and skill sets, and designing process and system improvements to increase productivity and reduce cost
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical or IT process and business owners and present ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives
  • Data manipulation and analysis skills crucial
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search and Content Management, Business Process and Forms
  • Ability to lead small teams in data collection, assessment, and improvement of software processes
  • Ability to establish organizational procedures and standards
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and analyze operational data
  • Ability to modify existing and create new software maintenance policies, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to define the business and mission need for systems that will provide services, capabilities, or platforms to end-users and other stakeholders
  • Ability to assist process improvement efforts through the capture of tacit knowledge from subject matter experts and using appropriate tools, and techniques
  • Ability to decompose high-level business and user requirements into use cases and functional requirements
  • Ability to gather and organize information and resources, compile data and prepare statistics, and to synthesize knowledge from diverse sources of information
  • Ability to design workflows showing as-is and to-be states for process improvements
  • Ability to implement process improvement best practices and techniques or methodologies
  • Ability to conduct process mapping, process analysis, data collection, and process modeling for designated process areas
